Wear your rope with pride! Majestic black and purple give a royal and opulent feeling, while the crisp white and neon yellow give a vivid pop of contrast that perfectly says to the world: This rope refuses to pick a side of the spectrum.

Plays well with others: Neon Purple, Bewitching Black, Snowblind White, Neon Yellow.

Note: There may be differences in color shades due to camera, computer monitor, or other device viewing. We will do our best to ensure that your order will be dyed in the same batch, but we cannot guarantee follow up batches being identical shades.

FAQ

Is this rope safe for suspension?

Our rope is rated to 1,100 lbs tensile strength and used by practitioners at all levels. As with all rope work, we recommend practicing safe techniques and never suspending alone. Check our Books & Education section for trusted learning resources.

Will the dye transfer onto skin or clothing?

Our ropes are dyed using fiber-reactive dyes and thoroughly washed before shipping. Minor color transfer is possible with brand-new rope on light fabrics — we recommend a short break-in wash before first use.

What length should a beginner start with?

30ft is the standard starting length in the shibari community. It gives you enough to work with for most foundational patterns without becoming unwieldy. A pair of 30ft lengths covers the majority of beginner and intermediate ties.

How many ropes do I need?

A practical starter set is 2–4 lengths of 30ft. Many practitioners build out their kit over time — mixing lengths and colors to suit different tie styles and aesthetics.
